About This Course

This presentation reviews results of a recent research and demonstration project that explores the benefits of "Re-Siding Right" - turning a standard residential re-siding job into an efficiency upgrade. Re-siding a building can present a valuable opportunity for an opportunistic retrofit, especially when combined with an energy upgrade. In this presentation, Christine Liaukus will discuss how integrating an energy-efficient overhaul into a re-siding project can enhance both the aesthetic appeal and functional performance of the structure. This combined approach not only improves the building's thermal insulation but also reduces energy consumption and utility costs. Recorded July 18, 2024.
