About This Course
Deane Evans, Executive Director for New Jersey Institute of Technology's Center for Building Knowledge, provides a background and overview of the Center and a walkthrough of the Center's New Jersey Clean Energy Learning Center. The Clean Energy Learning Center provides online education to the full range of stakeholder gorups engaged with the Clean Energy Program - building owners and managers; design professionals; energy and other professionals; contractors; code officials; homeowners and CEP program representatives. Education is provided at a variety of scales to suit the particular needs of individual users: from short, 1-5 minute tutorials; to in-field demonstrations; to full-length courses that provide comprehensive training on a particular topic or procedure and that qualify for continuing education credit. The site currently provides educational offerings organized into the following five categories: Residential, Nonresidential, Technologies, Special Programs, and Education Catalog. The Clean Energy Center was developed and is currently maintained and updated by the Center for Building Knowledge at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Recorded February 20, 2025.
